1. What is the thesis of the article?

The thesis of the article is that humans are born with infidelity that lead them to have multiple mates.

2. In what ways are the strategies employed by men and women to pass on the next generation at odds?

The strategy employed by men is that they want to produce many children so that they could transfer their blue prints or genetics. The strategy employed by women is that they tend to select a healthy, clever male that could produce a fertile offspring. So, the next generations that receive these genes have a chance that their gene pool is Polygamous.

3. What conclusion does the article draw about monogamy?

The monogamy or one life-long mate is not natural for human. The reason that the article gave us is that human wants to wide spread our gene cause us to be Polygamous. Polygamous, causes us to cheat on our mate and find new one. But when the moral issue involve the human could be better if they choose to do so.

4. In your own words explain the last paragraph of the article.

The last paragraph told us that human are born with moral. And we are just like a animal with moral lesson. But we are the one who choose to do it or not.

5. What are you personal reactions to the article.

I think the point of view of this article is contrast with my point of view. Maybe it is because that the environment I’m in is different from author’s environment. The point I disagree is that male tend to have sex because of they want to wide spread their genes. And I agree that people are born with moral lessons but it is our choice to do it or not.

Principles of Biological Psychology

"Everything psychological is simultaneously biological."

This statement is saying that our action or emotion will affect our body. Example is when you are angry at someone the neuron will fire and the message will be sent along the axon terminal.

“The nervous system is complexity build from simplicity”

Nervous system is complexity build from simplicity because there is many parts in the nervous system but it is build up with many simple cell such as neurons. Even though neuron can only do two things but the process of it is very complex. Because when the neuron fires the positive charge into the axon, the charge will go through each door of the axon to axon terminal.

“The brain is both specialized and integrated”

The brain of human are made up with two sides. Each side is good at different areas. And they could also communicate with each other because when they receive information that they are not good at it will send it to the other side.

“The nervous system is “plastic” especially at early ages of development”

The higher your ages are the lower your neurotransmitters are. This is because when we grew up we seem to learn more and choose more. One example is language. When we are baby we speak in every sound but when we grew up we seems to speak only the languages we choose to speak.

A Boy Without a Penis

This is a story about a boy who was born with his penis damaged. So his parent decided to turn him into a woman. The baby was castrated and surgeons changing his penis into vagina by using the remaining tissue. After the surgeon is successful they thought that everything will be fine as time goes but it is not. When Joan grows up her mother dress and treat as a girl. But she always wanted to be a boy such as playing with toy guns. When she is 14 years old her father told her the story about what happens when she was born. So they decided to change Joan to a boy again and change her name to John. The whole family moves there house and change school for John for new environment. Everybody could accept his status and he start dating a girl in school. When he grew up he was married and adopted 3 children. But he decided to commit suicide after he lost his job and divorce with his wife.
This story show that even though the environment treat him like a girl but his biological status is a boy. And when he got pressured his whole life and the result came out that he can't live his life happily.
